In college Mike stumbled into the strange situation of being on the planning staff for a convention and found himself completely addicted to everything involved with running a con. Mike started his staffing experience with No Brand Con 2005 where he had a hand in virtually every aspect of the con over the years eventually becoming Convention Director in 2008. After graduating Mike joined Geek.Kon staff just before it's 2nd year in the Summer of 2008 and is the current Workforce/Volunteer Organizer and Hotel Liason. Mike has also attended conventions all over the country large and small from Ohaycon in...Ohio to A-Kon in Texas with a total nearing 40 conventions. Mike is an all around geek interested in video games (console rpgs in particular), D&D, Magic the Gathering, European style boards games, Japanese culture, Anime, Science Fiction, and actual Science (life science: nature and animal behavior).
