Thundercats (1985) Lion-O and the Thundercats fight to create a new life on the planet of Third Earth after their home world of Thundera is destroyed. However, Mumm-Ra and his gang of mutants are determined to finish off Lion-O and his friends. The Thundercats fight back using their own unique combat skills and Lion-O's powerful weapon, the Sword of Omens.

Silverhawks (1986) Mon Star and his gang escape from a penal colony and start wreaking havoc across the galaxy. To prevent them from doing any more damage, the team known as the Silverhawks is formed to stop them.

Tigershark (1987) The scientific team known as the Tigersharks arrive on the planet Water-O to research it's alien inhabitants. Unfortunately, the Waterians are being plagued by an evil invader known as T-Ray. To combat this menace, the Tigersharks use a device called the Fish Tank on board their ship to morph them into aquatic creatures capable of fighting underwater.

The Flight of Dragons (1982) Based on the speculative historical novel by Peter Diskinson, a scientist is brought to a world of magic where a mishap leaves him in the body of a dragon. It's up to his comrades to teach him how to fly and fight like a dragon inorder to defeat an evil wizard who is plotting to keep the fantasy world of magic alive by dominating the real human world.

Terry Pratchett's Discworld: Wyrd Sisters (1997)
Granny Weatherwax just wants to live the life of a normal witch in the country of Lancre, on the flat disc of the world, held aloft by four elephants riding on the back of a giant space turtle. Her life, however, has become much more complicated ever since she and her friends, lecherous Nanny Ogg and flower power witch Magrat Garlick find the child of the murdered King Verence. It's up to Weatherwax and her friends to set things right in the kingdom. Can they withstand the call of the crown, though?

Terry Pratchett's Discworld: Soul Music (1997)
Susan Sto Helit's parents are dead. In the night she is visited by a raven and a skeletal rat, who bring her to Death's abode and command her to take up Death's scythe and do "the duty." It seems Death is extremely distraught over killing Susan's parents and has abandoned his post as the reaper of the Discworld. While going about Death's business, Susan falls for a young Rock N Roll musician, formerly Imp Y Celyn now calling himself "Buddy." There's something strange about the guitar Buddy and his band are using to spread the gospel of Rock. The magic within the music is changing the Discworld, and Susan will have to seek the aid of the Wizards of Unseen University as well as the man himself, Death, inorder to restore the world and save Buddy's life.

Time Masters (Les Maitres du Tempes) Space captain Jaffar, along with the exiled Prince Matton, his sister Princess Belle, and the hermit, Silbad, race to rescue Piel, a young boy stranded on the desert planet of Perdide. Between the child and Jaffar stand the newly founded, militaristic Federation and a an army of angelic beings. Shown with the original French dialog with English subtitles.

Rock & Rule In the aftermath of World War III, the human population has been replaced by that of a race of mutant rats and mice. Mok Swagger, a legendary rock and roller has hit the top and is unwilling to come down. To retain his power over the masses, he plans to unleash a demon from another dimension to wreak havoc and destruction. However to unlock the dimension, Mok needs a very special voice. He has found it in the form of Angel, a vocalist for the band Drats. First he'll have to deal with Angels boyfriend, Omar, and his friends. When Mok finally manages to kidnapper, it's up to Omar to realize what's really important in his life and come to her rescue. We will be showing the original Canadian version of this movie, which features the original, unaltered dialog, and the original voice actor for Omar.

Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys Including the talents of Jerry Doyle and Micheal Dorn (of Babylon 5 and Star Trek the Next Generation), this series is renowned for it's witty parodies of many Sci-Fi films and TV shows. Captain Charlie Simian is on one of NASA's monkey-manned flights when his ship is accidentally shot out into the far reaches of space. He is discovered by an alien race who grants him intelligence, a ship, and a crew made up of various other hyper-evolved primates from Earth. These aliens then also send Simian on a mission to stop Nebula, a half-human, half-black hole creature bent on recreating the universe. Also starring the voice talents of Malcolm McDowell and Marice LaMarche and directed by Brad Rader and David Schwartz.

Dino Riders As the Valorians flee the oppressive Rulon Empire, they are forced into using a special device, the Space Time Energy Projector, to escape into the past. When they inadvertently bring a group of Rulon ships with them back to prehistoric Earth, they use their advanced technology to control the surrounding fauna to defend themselves against their persecutors.

Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM A darker toned series compared to the light hearted Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM (Saturday Morning) as it is commonly known, features Sonic as a freedom fighter for the small village of Knothole on the planet of Mobius. Dr. Robotnik has gone about transforming most of Mobius 's inhabitants into lifeless cyborgs, including Sonic's uncle Charles. Our speedy hero fights on, though, with the aid of Tails, Princess Sally, Bunny Rabbot, Rooter, Antoine, and a few others.

Loading, Ready, Run... Graham and Paul came up with an idea while they were in school to post a new video every week depicting all manner of geekiness. It's been five years now, they haven't missed a week. Geek.Kon is proud to screen some of their best! (don't forget to mention your favorites on the Geek.Kon forums!)
