As you well know, Geek.Kon is awesome for many reasons, not the least of which is that it's FREE! We decided to be a free con because it helps create a different, less service-based atmosphere, because it promotes the ideals that Geek.Kon stands for (geekdom of all flavors for everyone), and because it makes the paperwork a bit easier.

Because of this, something like 80% of our funds come from donations from our con attendees. We hope you will consider giving whatever you can (a dollar, or a hundred) to help keep the Geek.Kon experience the way it was meant to be.
