Geek.Kon Video Games - The Largest Video Game Room in the Midwest!

Prepare yourself to enter the largest video game room in the midwest! Geek.Kon is gearing up to offer a gamer's mecca of almost 10,000 square feet of over 40 tables of consoles, a dozen free-play arcade machines, round-the-clock tournaments, and a 24-hour Rock Band stage. You'll wish the rest of Geek.Kon took place some other weekend, because you're never going to want to leave!

(You'll need to eventually, of course -- either to sleep, or once we strike it all down after closing ceremonies.)

Geek.Kon would also like to thank Fraggin' Dragon for providing Xbox 360 console and TVs and running our first person shooter tournaments.

List of Stations

If you were here last year in 2010, welcome back; this year we've worked hard to make Geek.Kon's video game room an even more memorable experience. If this is your first time gracing our halls: prepare to be blown away. Last year we were tasked with filling 10,000 square feet of space that cannot be subdivided for any other purpose. The result? The largest video game room in the midwest for two years running. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • 8-bit consoles: NES, Sega Master System, Famicom
  • 16-bit consoles: SNES, Genesis (w/ Sega CD!), Neo Geo
  • Sega Saturn, CD-I (WUT), Nintendo 64, PlayStation
  • GameCube, Dreamcase, Xbox, PS2
  • Wii, Xbox 360, PS3
  • And a ton of retro stuff from BEFORE 1983!

Arcade Cabinets

Returning to Geek.Kon this year: Free Play Arcades! This year we have seven free-play cabinets ranging from racing games, shmups, fighters, dance and rhythm games, and classic arcades. It's noisy, but our nostalgic staff still believes there's something to be said for this dying art.

Please see our full Tournaments page for details on the following:
