What are the prices for admission to Geek.Kon?
Weekend passes are $30. Day passes are $15 for Fri and Sun, and $20 for Sat. See the
registration page for more details.
Do I have to stay at the Marriott to attend Geek.Kon?
To attend Geek.Kon you must purchase a Geek.Kon badge from the registration table.

Where can I find the events schedule?
The full schedules will be listed in the Geek.Kon program book that will be handed out when
you purchase/pick up your badge. For online schedules check the events page
for the panels and programming schedule, and check out the gaming page for the
tabletop games schedule.
When can I pick up my badge?
The registration table will not open until 10 AM on Friday, September 3rd. You may arrive at the hotel earlier,
but events will not start until the official openening time of 10 AM.
How do I enter the Masquerade Contest?
Sign up at the information table before 10 AM on Saturday. See the
masquerade page for more details.
What is the difference between the Masquerade Contest and the Masquerade Ball?
The Masquerade Contest is a judged competition where con-goers can show off their costuming skills and
present skits as their favorite characters. The Masquerade Ball
is a formal dance that con-goers attend in costume. The Masquerade Ball
has an entrance fee with all proceeds going to the MDA.
Can I bring "Insert Weapon" to the con?
Real weapons are not allowed at the convention. If a real weapon is brought to the convention it
must be left with Security. All other weapons must be checked over by Security and tagged as acceptable.
