Sari came from a childhood of relative "normalcy" completely devoid of all forms of geekdom. It wasn't until fate threw her into the midst of geekdom by placing her in a dorm room directly above "Geek Headquarters" at UW-Madison that she fell into this magical universe. During a typical Wednesday night protest about watching cartoons, she discovered that she just couldn't look away from the beautiful animation of Cowboy Bebop. Entranced with this new-found hope for "cartoons" she threw herself completely into the world of Japanese animation and refuses to emerge....despite all wishes from her parents and former-life friends. She now resides with her corrupter (and her cat named Kalpin) in the frozen northland of the Twin Cities, still consumes as much anime as possible, has developed an irrational love of Harvest Moon, fighting games, action RPGs, and games by Atlus studios, and has expanded her geekdom to a borderline unhealthy obsession with Torchwood and Dr. Who.
