Born in 1981, Burke's first taste of geekery came in the form of the Nickelodeon cartoon "Belle and Sebastian", aka in Japan "Famous Dog Joli." Soon came interests in Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Galaxy Quest, Jonny Quest, Jonny Mnemonic, John Constantine, Constance the badger, badge hunting, Huntik, Hunter's Moon, Sailor Moon. Moondreamers....Armed with her two trusty art degrees (ASA-UW Manitowoc, BSA-UW Madison), Burke commenced working in the Deli and Coffee shop of a local grocery store, where she remains today: fat, sassy, and with all the fried foods she can eat!
