Pull the plug at your house, grab your computer, and head on over to the LAN at Geek.Kon! This years LAN plans on being an improvement upon last year's with scheduled tournaments with prizes, open gaming, door prizes, and free swag from sponsors for everyone who showes up to participate. The game plans include a great line-up of first-person shooters and real time strategy games with tournaments going on throughout the weekend. Remember, this LAN is BYOC (bring your own computer) so the greatness of it all depends upon you.

The LAN room will be in opperation Friday through Sunday during the entire convention.

Please note this is not a restrictive list. Any game others can think of that is available maybe be played, but the following is a list of games that will most deffinately be played at the LAN:

• Counter-Strike:Source
• Team Fortress 2
• Day of Defeat:Source
• Left 4 Dead 2
• Battlefield 2
• Battlefield 2142
• Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
• Unreal Tournament
• Starcraft (1 and 2)
• Warcraft III

The following is the preliminary schedule for tournaments:

• Day of Defeat:Source - Firday 12:00pm to 2:00pm
• Battlefield 2 - Friday 3:00pm to 5:00pm
• Left 4 Dead 2 - Friday 6:00pm to 8:00pm
• Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare - Friday 9:00pm to 12:00am
• Starcraft - Saturday 10:00am to 12:00am
• Team Fortress 2 - Saturday 2:00pm to 5:00pm
• Unreal Tournament - Saturday 7:00pm to 9:00pm
• Counter-Strike:Source - Saturday 10:00pm to 1:00am
• Warcraft III - Sunday 10:00am - 1:00pm

Any time left over after tournaments finish and between the listed time slots is open gaming. Like stated before we are willing to give anything a go so long as everyone can participate in it.
